John's Window Capping
These windows were, very nearly, lost to the land-fill. Several of these windows were no longer functional. A little attention now and then could have prevented these windows from reaching this condition. All the window frames and door frames in this house were in the condition you see in the following images. Minor sash repair was necessary on a couple of these.
These windows were fine when I was finished the window restoration and they operate as well now as the day they were built. This home will be much more comfortable when the cold weather arrives as the windows close properly now. The homeowner was very pleased as new windows would have been a costly, and messy, experience. The interior of this home had been extensively renovated very recently. Cladding was definitely a wise alternative for these homeowners.
